Southport to Liverpool John Lennon Airport Taxi

Southport to LPL is roughly 27 miles and one of the longer "local" airport runs in the region, because it covers the whole borough before it even reaches Liverpool. The usual routing is the A565 through Ainsdale, Formby and Crosby, or the A570 and M58 to the M57 when the coast road is busy. Realistically that is 45 minutes to an hour, and more on a summer weekend or an air show day.

We collect from Southport town centre and Lord Street, the Promenade hotels, Birkdale, Hillside, Ainsdale, Churchtown, Crossens, High Park and Marshside. Golfers heading out from Royal Birkdale, Hillside or Southport & Ainsdale are a regular part of this route, and clubs need an estate or MPV rather than a saloon.

Because the journey is longer than most people assume, early flights out of Liverpool mean genuinely early pickups from PR8 and PR9 — often before 4am. Those are allocated to a driver the day before, and the fare is fixed at the time of booking with no unsocial-hours surcharge.

Drop-off is at the LPL terminal entrance with the airport charge included. On the way back we monitor your inbound flight and meet you inside arrivals, with waiting time inside the standard window included, then run you straight back up the coast.
